# Resume Tailoring

> Rewrites your bullets against a specific job description, then hands you an editor to check the output.

Instead of sending the same resume to every job, Hiair rewrites your bullets against each specific job description before it's submitted.

## How it works

1. Hiair reads the job posting and your base profile (built from the resume you uploaded).
2. It rewrites your experience bullets to surface the parts of your background the posting actually asks about, rather than rewording the same summary every time.
3. You get the result in a rich editor, so you can change any line before it goes out — this happens whether you're in Copilot or Autopilot mode.

## Where this fits in

Resume tailoring runs automatically as part of the [apply agent](/features/apply-agent) for every match. There's nothing extra to set up — it happens on each application.
