# Quickstart

> From resume upload to your first tailored application

Here's what happens the first time you use Hiair, end to end.

    Upload a PDF once. Hiair parses your experience, skills, and preferences into a profile the agent can reason over — no forms to fill in by hand.

  <Step title="The agent hunts for matches">
    It searches the marketplace against your profile and preferences, scores every posting, and queues up only the roles worth your time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Every resume gets rewritten">
    For each role, the tailoring model rewrites your bullets against the job description — then hands you the draft in a rich editor, so you can change any line before it goes out.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pair a computer">
    Applications are filled in your own Chrome, not a cloud browser. Install [hiair-cli](/cli/overview) and pair this computer once — it's quick, and only needs to happen before your first apply.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Applications get filled and sent">
    Your paired computer works through the application form, reuses answers it has learned from you before, and submits. In Copilot you sign off first. See [Applying from the CLI](/cli/apply) for how it handles forms that need your input.

    Every run shows up in the [application tracker](/features/application-tracker) with its status, the resume that was sent, and the answers that were given.
